In a significant move to strengthen foundational learning in Hindi and bridge academic gaps post-pandemic, the Hindi Bridge Course Lesson Plan and Program of Work 2025 for Classes 6 to 10 prepared by the subject experts been released. This initiative is aimed at supporting students across government and aided schools by equipping teachers with structured and expert-curated resources to improve learning outcomes in the Hindi language.
The Bridge Course has been meticulously developed by a team of seasoned subject experts and master resource persons from Karnataka. The primary goal of this initiative is to address learning loss, reinforce basic concepts, and gradually align students with the 2025 curriculum expectations. With a focus on inclusivity and clarity, the program is designed to assist both teachers and students in navigating the academic transition smoothly.
Each lesson plan follows a scaffolded approach that builds upon students’ previous knowledge, making the curriculum accessible to learners at different levels. The structure incorporates storytelling, grammar games, vocabulary building, and speaking activities to make the learning experience both engaging and effective.
The Bridge Course duration is set for 15 days in month of June 2025, typically during the initial term of the academic year, and will be followed by a reintegration into the full curriculum. Special attention has been paid to rural and semi-urban learners to ensure the content is culturally relevant and linguistically accessible.
