The Shri Paragbhai Desai Wagh Bakri Scholarship 2025, launched in collaboration with the Vidyasaarathi portal, is designed to provide financial assistance to young students from economically weaker backgrounds. Importantly, the scholarship does not cover employees of the Shri Paragbhai Desai Wagh Bakri Tea Group or their children, ensuring the benefits reach students from outside the organization.
Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is open to all genders and students must have a family income of less than Rs. 5,00,000 per annum. Eligible courses include:
- MBBS – Scholarship Reward: Rs. 75,000
- BAMS/BDS/BHMS – Scholarship Reward: Rs. 50,000
- B.Sc Nursing – Scholarship Reward: Rs. 30,000
- ANM/GNM – Scholarship Reward: Rs. 20,000
- B.Ed (Special Education) – Scholarship Reward: Rs. 25,000
- Diploma courses – Scholarship Reward: Rs. 20,000
- B.E/B.Tech (Preference to IT Streams) – Scholarship Reward: Rs. 40,000
