After Completion of 7th Std students make a leap towards high schools, its very important stage in terms of getting Quality Education and also build one’s personality, in the three years from 8th to 10th they need to mould themselves to face Public Examinations
High school is a time for Students to learn valuable skills for life from friends, Teachers, parents and others. High School days filled with fun time, informational activities and prepare them to face the tasks. There are plenty of reasons a high school education is important, but mostly it is a means to achieve long-term goals and feel a sense of pride in achieving them
Specially in 8th and 9th Std Students get into puberty stage and develop the Ability to express thoughts and opinions, they learn to balance duties and responsibilities, they inculcate the skills to work with others, they start to think independently and develop the ability to apply the knowledge gained to real life situations, its is the stage in students life where they find very difficult to get adjusted with changes happening in them, the age of puberty is considered by Psychologists as age of rebirth and age where maximum energy is produced in body if not channelized in proper way it can be disastrous
As the Syllabus in Karnataka is designed according to NCF 2005, it consists of Constructive, Integrated and Spiral approach, The content the students get to learn in 8th and 9th is continuation of the skills they have developed in Primary School, Some students specially those who jump from one medium of instruction to the other may find bit tough to adjust as the Syllabus will be bit heavy and find difficult with the teaching
