Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship initiative, Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), has made history by securing a Guinness World Record for the “Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month.” Organised annually by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with MyGov, the program recorded a staggering 3.53 crore valid registrations during its eighth edition in 2025, setting a new global benchmark in citizen engagement.
The official Guinness World Record certificate was presented at a ceremony in New Delhi, graced by several dignitaries including Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of State for Electronics and IT Jitin Prasada, School Education Secretary Sanjay Kumar, and MyGov CEO Nand Kumarum, among others. Rishi Nath, the official adjudicator from Guinness World Records, validated and announced the record achievement.
Launched in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha is a one-of-a-kind platform where Prime Minister Modi interacts directly with students, parents, and teachers across the country and abroad. The initiative aims to transform the exam period—often a time of stress and pressure—into a celebration of learning, positivity, and preparation. Over the years, PPC has become an eagerly anticipated annual event that addresses student concerns, provides motivational guidance, and promotes holistic education.
The 2025 edition’s record-breaking participation is a testament to the massive outreach and trust the initiative has built. The MyGov platform played a key role in facilitating registrations and ensuring inclusive digital participation from every corner of the country.
Speaking at the event, Minister Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted that PPC has become a movement that not only reduces examination-related stress but also aligns with the larger goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The achievement also underscores India’s growing focus on digital governance and participatory democracy.
The Guinness recognition celebrates the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi and the collective efforts of educators, administrators, and families who contributed to making Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 a resounding success. As the nation continues to empower its youth, PPC remains a shining example of how dialogue and empathy can redefine education.
