The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025 scorecard for the Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees (PO/MT) recruitment exam. Candidates who appeared for the preliminary examination can now download their IBPS PO 2025 scorecards from the official website
According to the official notification, the IBPS PO prelims scorecard 2025 will remain available for download until October 12, 2025. Candidates are advised to check their marks, qualifying status, and sectional cut-off before the link expires.
The IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025 was declared on September 26, 2025, while the preliminary exam was conducted on August 17, 23, and 24, 2025, as per the IBPS exam calendar.
IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025: Steps to Download the Scorecard
Candidates can follow the steps below to access and download their IBPS PO Prelims scorecard 2025:
- Visit the official website of IBPS
- On the homepage, click on the link “IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025 Scorecard”.
- A new login window will appear.
- Enter your Registration Number / Roll Number and Password / Date of Birth.
- Click on the Submit button.
- Your IBPS PO scorecard 2025 will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and print a hard copy for future reference.
Candidates must ensure that the printed scorecard clearly displays their name, registration number, marks obtained in each section, overall score, and qualifying status.
IBPS PO Mains Exam 2025 Details
Candidates who have qualified in the IBPS PO Preliminary Exam 2025 are now eligible to appear for the IBPS PO Mains Examination, which will be held on October 12, 2025.
The IBPS PO Mains Exam 2025 will comprise two sections:
- Objective Test: 200 marks
- Descriptive Test: 25 marks
The Objective Test will include questions from the following subjects:
- Reasoning Ability
- General/Economy/Banking/Financial/Digital Awareness (including RBI circulars)
- English Language
- Data Analysis and Interpretation
Each section will be divided into Section A and Section B, and all questions in both sections will be compulsory. Some questions will carry 1 mark, while others will carry 2 marks.
A negative marking system will be applicable — 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer in the objective section.
Recruitment Drive and Vacancy Details
Through this recruitment drive, IBPS aims to fill a total of 5,208 vacancies for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT) in participating public sector banks.
The IBPS PO recruitment process includes three stages:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Interview
Candidates who qualify in the mains exam will be shortlisted for the interview round, after which the final merit list will be prepared based on cumulative performance.
