Objective of the Scholarship
The scholarship seeks to provide financial assistance to deserving students, particularly orphans and those from economically weaker backgrounds, enabling them to study at reputed law colleges in Karnataka, including Chanakya University (Bangalore), JSS Sakri Law College (Hubli), and SDM Law College (Mangalore). Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Aravind Prabhu Law Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
- Enrollment: Should be enrolled or enrolling in any year of an LLB course at the selected law institutions in Karnataka.
- Academic Performance:
- Minimum 60% in Class X and XII board examinations.
- Minimum 60% in graduation.
- Income: Annual family income should not exceed INR 6,00,000 from all sources.
- Renewal: Students must maintain 60% or above in each successive year and submit a fresh application annually to continue receiving the scholarship.
Application Process
The application process is straightforward and conducted every year from August to October. Candidates must prepare all necessary documents and submit a personal note explaining their eligibility and career goals.
