More than 9000 top universities of the world accept TOEFL scores as a prerequisite for English language proficiency. ELIGIBILITY

Students who are willing to study in abroad have to appear for the TOEFL exam. The conducting body of the TOEFL iBT has not specified any age criteria or education qualification or prerequisites to apply for the TOEFL.

EXAM FEES

The registration fee for the TOEFL exam fluctuates from place to place. The registration fee for TOEFL in India is US$185. Beside this candidates also need to pay extra for other services like late registration, rescheduling the exam or to review the score.

TOEFL OFFLINE APPLICATION

At first candidate has to download TOEFL registration form.
Then candidates should fill up certain codes(available online) required to fill up the registration form manually.
One can initiate payment from the options mentioned in the form
After filling up the form, candidate has to send the form to Regional Registered Centers.
Candidates will receive the mail by TOEFL 1 month before the test.
If the candidate does not receive any confirmation message, then he/she must call RRC at least three days before the last date of registration.

TOEFL REGISTRATION THROUGH MOBILE APP

Visit the official website of TOEFL to find out contact number of RRC (+91-124-4147700) near preferred location
Enter your personal details to complete registration.
Candidate can pay registration fee through credit card/debit card/ e-cheque.
Online registration through mobile will end a week before the exam date.
If the candidatefails to register within given time then a fine of $40 will be charged.

TOEFL CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING FEE

Candidates who have booked a test date but for some reasons if they want to cancel or reschedule the test then theyshould be do that 4 full days in advance of actual test date.

Rescheduling of tests by mail or at the test center is not acceptable. Candidates need to call their Regional Registration Centre (India – 91-124-4147700) and provide them with their full name and appointment number to get reschedule time for test. Candidates can also login to their ETS account online and reschedule any upcoming tests. The fee for rescheduling the test is US$60.

Candidates has to login to official website of TOEFL to create their validated profile. You must carry your passport as it is considered as one of the primary documents while registering for TOEFL. Check your name should be spelled correctly or not. Follow these few steps to complete the registration process.

TOEFL EXAM DATES

Applicants must register before as per the availability of TOEFL exam dates. Candidates will nearly get 50 exam dates for TOEFL. Before the pandemic outbreak, test takers could have taken exam at the registered test centers. Now test-takers can appear for online exams at home under surveillance.

TOEFL EXAM CENTERS

Around 4500 TOEFL exam centers are located across 165 countries. In 59 cities of India, test takers can register for available exam centers as per their suitability.

TOEFL RESULT

TOEFL scorecard will be sent over mail within 10 days from the date of test. To download the scorecard, candidates need to log in with the registered ETS user id. TOEFL ibt score has been evaluated in a different manner as compared to TOEFL PBT score.
