The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially activated its X (formerly Twitter) account, reaffirming its commitment to transparent communication and timely updates for millions of candidates across India. The official handle, @SSC_GoI, is now live and serves as the only authentic SSC account for all exam-related announcements, notifications, and updates.
According to the official notice issued by the Commission, “This is to inform all candidates that the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is now active on X (formerly Twitter). For timely updates, announcements, and other important information related to SSC exams and recruitment processes, you can follow us on our official X handle: @SSC_GoI.”
Purpose of SSC’s Official X Handle
The activation of the official SSC X account marks an important step toward improving digital communication and transparency between the Commission and its stakeholders. Through this verified handle, candidates, parents, and stakeholders can receive authentic, real-time updates about:
- Upcoming SSC exams and recruitment notifications

SSC Warns Candidates Against Fake Handles

The Commission noted that several fake and misleading accounts mimic its name and logo, spreading false exam-related information. New Initiative: Access to Question Papers and Responses
In a significant move aimed at increasing transparency in its examination process, the Staff Selection Commission has also decided to allow candidates to view, store, and review their question papers, along with responses and correct answers.
This initiative enables candidates to:

- Challenge answer keys with valid evidence during the objection window
- Keep a personal copy of their question papers and responses for reference
However, SSC officials clarified that restrictions will remain in place during ongoing multi-shift examinations to prevent the risk of paper leaks or compromises between sessions. Once all sessions of an examination are completed, candidates will be able to access their papers and official keys via the SSC official website — ssc.gov.in.
