RRC Eastern Railway Apprentices Recruitment 2025 notification out: Apply for 3115 Posts

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway, has officially announced a massive recruitment drive for 3115 Apprentice posts across various divisions and workshops. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring candidates who have completed their 10th standard education and hold an NCVT/SCVT-recognised trade certificate.

Important Dates

• Notification Release Date: July 31, 2025
• Online Application Start Date: August 14, 2025

Application Fee

• For All Candidates: ₹100/- (non-refundable)

Age Limit

Applicants must be at least 15 years old and not more than 24 years as of the closing date of application. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

• Passed 10th class examination or equivalent under the 10+2 system with minimum 50% aggregate marks, from a recognised board.
• Possessed a valid National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT or SCVT.

• Howrah Division: 659 posts
• Liluah Workshop: 612 posts
• Sealdah Division: 440 posts
• Kanchrapara Workshop: 187 posts
• Malda Division: 138 posts
• Asansol Division: 412 posts
• Jamalpur Workshop: 667 posts

This recruitment is conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and is aimed at providing technical training to eligible youth. Selection will be based on merit, calculated using the marks obtained in matriculation and the ITI examination.
