KNRUHS Releases Final Merit List & Announces Telangana NEET MDS 2025 Stray Vacancy Counselling

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, has officially uploaded the final merit list for NEET MDS 2025 under both competent authority quota and management quota seats. This update comes after the release of the revised NEET MDS 2025 cut-off scores. Along with the merit list, the university has also announced the schedule for the Telangana NEET MDS 2025 stray vacancy counselling to fill the remaining vacant seats.

Telangana NEET MDS 2025 Merit List Details

According to KNRUHS, a total of 362 candidates were selected under the competent quota and 272 under the management quota in the final merit list. However, some candidates did not join their allotted colleges during the mop-up counselling rounds. Specifically, seven candidates from the competent quota and eight candidates from the management quota failed to report.

This resulted in 16 vacant seats under the competent quota and 75 under the management quota, leaving a total of 91 MDS seats available for stray vacancy counselling in Telangana.

Web Option Entry for Telangana NEET MDS 2025 Stray Vacancy Round

Eligible candidates are required to exercise their web option entry from 6 PM on September 2 to 3 PM on September 3, 2025. Students must carefully prioritize their choice of MDS courses and dental colleges while submitting web options through the official portal:

Candidates allotted in mop-up counselling round 1 will need to pay ₹49,600, while those admitted in mop-up counselling round 2 must pay ₹69,600 to confirm their admission.

Eligibility Restrictions for Telangana NEET MDS Stray Vacancy Counselling 2025

KNRUHS has implemented stricter rules to prevent seat blocking and ensure transparency in the counselling process. The following categories of students are not eligible to exercise web options:

  • Candidates who were allotted seats and already joined courses in earlier phases of counselling.
  • Those who discontinued MDS admission under the management quota or failed to report after allotment.
  • Students who did not exercise web options in the first phase of management quota counselling, as per G.O.Ms.No.107, HM&FW(C1) Department, Dated: 22-08-2022.
  • Candidates admitted under All India Quota (AIQ) counselling or in other states, as per MCC records.
  • Students already admitted to MDS courses in any dental college in Telangana, since applying again would amount to seat blocking.

KNRUHS has also warned that violating these rules may lead to cancellation of allotment and further legal action as per law.
