Educational Qualifications:

The qualification varies depending on the branch/cadre. Common eligibility criteria include:

• Engineering Graduates (BE/B.Tech) with minimum 60% marks in relevant disciplines.
• MBA / PG Diploma holders in Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, Material Management, or IT with First Class.
• Law graduates with a degree qualifying for enrolment under Advocates Act, 1961, with minimum 55% marks.
• Science Graduates with M.Sc. in Maths, Physics, Meteorology, Oceanography, Atmospheric Sciences, or Operational Research with 60% marks.
• IT Professionals with MCA/ M.Sc. (IT) with First Class.
• Candidates should have 60% marks in Class X and XII, with a minimum of 60% in English in either.

Note: The candidate’s qualification should be from a college/university recognized by the relevant authorities like UGC, AICTE, or the Bar Council of India (for Law).

Salary Structure:

Initial Gross Salary for Sub-Lieutenant: Approximately ₹1,10,000 per month (includes allowances). All appointed officers will be members of the Naval Group Insurance Scheme (NGIS), which provides insurance cover on a contribution basis.
