The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has officially announced that candidates who appeared for the ICSI CS June 2025 exam can now request and access copies of their evaluated answer books directly through the ICSI examination portal. This new facility allows students to obtain their ICSI CS June 2025 answer books without the need to file a Right to Information (RTI) application, making the process much more streamlined and transparent.
ICSI CS June 2025 Answer Books: How to Access
According to the official notice, the facility will be available through the ICSI examination answer book portal starting from August 26, 2025. After successfully submitting a request, students will receive a user ID and password at their registered email address. These login credentials must be used to download and view the evaluated answer books.
The notice further clarifies that the copies of evaluated answer scripts will only be available within the record retention period, which is 45 days from the date of result declaration. Since the ICSI CS June 2025 result was declared on August 26, candidates can access their answer books until October 9, 2025.
The institute also emphasized that answer books are personal information of the respective student and will be supplied only to them, ensuring confidentiality.
Marks Verification and Grievances
After accessing their ICSI CS June 2025 answer books, candidates who wish to raise concerns regarding errors in valuation can apply for verification of marks. The process requires the payment of a prescribed fee and can be completed via the ICSI SMASH Portal.
As per the guidelines, grievances can be submitted within 60 days of the result declaration or 15 days from the date of accessing the answer book, whichever is earlier.
For students who have simultaneously applied for certified copies, inspection of answer books, or verification of marks, the institute has confirmed that applications will be processed as per existing rules. In such cases, answer book copies will be shared only after completion of the required procedures.
Restrictions on Public Posting of Answer Books
The ICSI has clearly stated that evaluated answer books are strictly for personal inspection and academic use. They cannot be used for legal proceedings or shared with others. Posting answer books, either wholly or in part, on social media or any public platform is strictly prohibited.
The notice adds that any instance of sharing answer books publicly or making comments on their evaluation will be viewed seriously and may invite strict action from the institute.
