FIT India Quiz 2023 Preliminary round schedule released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Schedule of Preliminary Round of Fit India Quiz 2023, As per the notification released Preliminary Round of the Fit India Quiz 2023 in the Internet Based (online) mode to be held on 21st and 22nd December 2023

The Quiz will be sent on Android mobile phones. Candidates are not be required to visit any exam centre to appear in the Quiz. They will be able to appear in the Quiz from their respective location/s, on their Android mobile phones, Candidates can login to the official portal and download  /print their admit Cards by using their mobile number (provided by them in their application form) and date of birth

Mock test to be conducted from from 15th December to 17th December 2023 for familiarising the candidates with the process of appearing in the online Quiz

The Sports Authority of India (SAI), Fit India Mission has extended the last date to register for the Fit India Quiz 2023,

As per the notification released the last date has been extended till 31st October 2023, Candidates who have not yet register can register within 31st October 2023, Schools to register and nominate 2 students for the Fit India Quiz 2023,

The registration of the schools shall be considered complete only if they have nominated the students and paid the required fees of Rs 100 per student, The dates for the preliminary rounds shall be communicated to the registered schools

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi in August 2019 with a vision of encouraging every Indian citizen to adopt a physically active lifestyle launched Fit India Movement, To further propagate the message of Fit India Movement among the school children and strengthen its presence in schools, a Fit India Quiz has been envisioned to involve school children across the country.

Fit India Mission has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the preliminary round of the Fit India Quiz 2023 to National Testing Agency (NTA)

TEST PATTERN

The Fit India Quiz is Internet Based Test (Online Test). Candidates can take the test from their location on Android Mobile Phones. They need not visit any test centre. It consist of Objective type comprising Multiple Choice Questions, The preliminary examination is conducted in 11 major local languages apart from English, Hindi

The quiz under the Preliminary Examination will be of 30 minutes duration and will consist of 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Negative marking will be given for wrong answers, 4 Marks for each correct answer and1 mark for each wrong answer will be deducted

In the state round, teams from eligible schools will participate in a quiz conducted on the web platform, The quiz will have questions from various topics as History of Indian sports, traditional games/sports, yoga, personalities, Fitness with special emphasis on Indian traditional fitness methods, Khelo India / Olympics / CWG /Asian Games, schemes of Government of India on sports promotion and fitness like Khelo India Scheme, TOPS, Fit India Mission, Major domestic and international leagues and competitions, Any other national/international developments regarding sports and fitness

ELIGIBLITY

Students studying in Class 1 to 12 in any school in India can participate in Fit India Quiz 2023, Any school (under any Board/CBSE) can register and nominate their students to participate in the Quiz. Individual candidates cannot apply. They have to be nominated by their respective school. 

IMPORTANT DATE

The online applications for the Fit India Quiz 2023 can be submitted from 4th September to 5th October 2023, Preliminary exam including Mock Exam to be held from 1st to 8th November 2023, State Round from 1st to 25th December 2023, National round scheduled to be held in January 2024

The Fit India quiz provides an opportunity for schools and students win cash prizes worth more than Rs 3 Crore
