CAT 2020 Final Key Answers released

The revised final answer key of IIT – CAT 2020 has been released, the Candidates who have appeared in the IIM-CAT 2020 can download the final answer keys and match them with their response IDs online,,

However the provisional key answers were released on 8th December and option to file objections was open till 11th December 2020,

As per the official notice “After due deliberation and careful examination, the expert panels decided that there is no change in the answer key for Shift 1 and Shift 3 question papers. However, the answer key for one question (ID 48916812935) in the QA section in Shift 2 has been revised,”, to check the key answers CLICK HERE

CAT EXAM

About 2 lakh candidates appear for CAT exam every year. Common Admission Test exam is an aptitude test which is a doorway for 20 IIMs and nearly 1,200 B-schools in India. CAT is conducted through online over 156 cities.

The exam covers 100 MCQs & non-MCQs from Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability.

ELIGIBILITY 

The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA for general category and 45% aggregate or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST /PWD/DA category from a recognized board or university

The candidate must have pursued a professional degree (CA/ CS/ ICWA) with required percentage

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification or awaiting for result are also eligible to apply for CAT exam.

CAT EXAM PATTERN

CAT question paper is divided into three sections: Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. Each section has 40 minutes time. The candidates need to solve both MCQ and Non-MCQ type questions. The question paper is usually of moderate difficulty level with QA posing more challenges in terms of tough questions.

CAT APPLICATION PROCESS

Step 1- Kindly visit CAT official website.
Step 2- Fill upall the required details for registration.
Step 3- After successful registration pay your exam fees.

After completing registration for CAT exam, candidates will receive a User ID and Password which can be used in the future to use the candidate login.

Step 2 : Enter your Registration Number and password and then click on Sign in, since
a fake registration number and fake password has already been inserted. So candidates can proceed by just clicking on Sign in.

Step 3 : Read thoroughly“General Instructions for Candidate”.

Step 4 : Then tick on “I am ready to begin” to take your Mock Test.

DOWNLOAD CAT ADMIT-CARD?

CAT admit-card can be downloaded only after entering the CAT login ID and password.  

Step 1 – Go to CAT official website

Step 2 – Login using your CAT user ID and password.

Step 3 – The CAT admit card will be displayed. Download the same and check details mentioned below.

Step 5 – Keep a soft copy of the admit card saved for future references.

Note: All candidates’ primary reference identity will be through their CAT application number printed on the CAT Admit Card. This application number is used to identify the exam lab/console at the exam center on the CAT Exam Day.

STEPS TO BE TAKEN BY CANDIDATES FOR CAT

Frisking of Candidates prior to entry for CAT exam, Document Verification, CAT Admit Card (with affixed photograph),

Any one original valid photo identity proof (such as College ID, Employer ID, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, and Identification Affidavit)

Other documents like medical certificate in case of a candidate using a Pacemaker or implants (metal) or other devices for health issues, Test Day Exception Forms/ Authorization Form, Candidates would be advised to remove their footwear outside the Exam Lab.

Registration Process for CAT (Capturing IRIS and photo), Sign attendance sheet in the CAT exam hall and begin the exam at the scheduled time.
