PATTERN OF QUESTION PAPERS

To improve the Academic Quality and judge the Quality learning of Students, Marks are distributed theme based, SSLC Summative Exam (Final Exam) Question Paper will have 38 Question of 80 Marks (2 Languages and 3 Core Subjects) and 100 Marks (1^st Language), the optional Exercises in Text book are not taken for Examination, they are just for reference and improve learning skills of students, the main objective behind the changes is to control mass copying, reduce rote memorization, increase learning ability and logical thinking, build confidence in students and improve their ability, through Long Answer type Questions new pattern wants to improve the writing ability of students and make teachers teach all the chapters instead of choice based which usually some teachers were following on base of design of Question papers

Totally Student face Exam for 500 Marks, To get pass they should Score Minimum 28 of 80 Marks and 35 of 100 Marks

80 Marks Core Subjects and 2 Languages Question Pattern consists of 8 Multiple Choice Questions carrying 1 Mark Each, 8 Questions of Very Short Answer carry 1 Mark each, 8 Short Answer Questions Carrying 2 Marks Each, 9 Long Answer Question Carrying 3 Marks Each, 4 Long Answer Questions carrying 4 Mark each and 1 Very Long Answer question Carrying 5 Mark, In Question Paper all the cognitive levels (Remembering, Understanding, Application and Analysis, Skill) are covered and Given Equal Weightage for Easy, Average and Difficult questions,

100 Marks 1^st Language Question Pattern consists of 14 Multiple Choice Questions carrying 1 Mark Each, 9 Questions of Very Short Answer carry 1 Mark each, 10 Short Answer Questions Carrying 2 Marks Each, 9 Long Answer Question Carrying 3 Marks Each, 5 Long Answer Questions carrying 4 Mark each and 2 Very Long Answer question Carrying 5 Mark, In Question Paper all the cognitive levels (Remembering, Understanding, Application and Analysis, Skill) are covered and Given Equal Weightage for Easy, Average and Difficult questions.
