PROGRAMMES OFFERED AND ELIGIBILITY
Postgraduate Diploma in the Teaching of English (PGDTE)
Eligibility: M.A. in English/English Literature/Linguistics/TESL/ELT, Minimum Marks 55% (Gen/OBC-CL), 50% (OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD), Final-year candidates are eligible to apply
Postgraduate Diploma in the Teaching of Arabic (PGDTA)
Eligibility: M.A. in Arabic/Arabic Literature/Linguistics/Teaching of Arabic, Minimum Marks: 55% (Gen/OBC-CL), 50% (OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD), Final-year candidates are eligible to apply
Postgraduate Diploma in Translation (PGDT)
Eligibility: M.A. in English with additional proficiency in an Indian or foreign language, Minimum Marks: 55% (Gen/OBC-CL), 50% (OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD), Final-year candidates are eligible to apply
Postgraduate Diploma in Materials Development (PGDMD)
Eligibility: M.A. in English/Linguistics/ELT, Minimum Marks: 55% (Gen/OBC-CL), 50% (OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD), Final-year candidates are eligible to apply
ENTRANCE TEST STRUCTURE
All applicants must appear for an entrance test relevant to their chosen programme:
PGDTE, PGDT, PGDMD: Duration: 2 hours, Sections: English Language Proficiency – 50 marks, Domain Knowledge – 50 marks
PGDTA: Duration: 2 hours Sections: Arabic Proficiency and Literature – 75 marks, Domain Knowledge – 25 marks
