NEET UG 2025: AIIMS New Delhi Issues Guidelines for Round 1 Admission and Reporting Process

As the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) prepares to release the NEET UG 2025 Round 1 seat allotment results on July 31, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released detailed reporting guidelines for candidates allotted seats at its premier institute. A total of 2,000 MBBS seats across 17 AIIMS institutions will be filled through NEET UG counselling 2025.

Candidates who are allotted a seat in AIIMS New Delhi under Round 1 counselling must report in person between August 1 and 6, 2025, at the Academic Section, Undergraduate Cell, AIIMS, New Delhi. Timings for verification and submission of documents will be 9:30 am to 4 pm, except for government holidays, when reporting will be from 10 am to 2 pm.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR REPORTING

Students must carry two sets of photocopies and the following original documents:

  1. Provisional Seat Allotment Letter issued by MCC
  2. NTA NEET Scorecard 2025
  3. NTA NEET Admit Card 2025
  4. Five passport-size photographs
  5. Valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, Passport, Election ID, etc.)
  6. Class 10 and 12 marksheets
  7. Caste certificate, PwD certificate (if applicable)

AIIMS has stated that all original certificates of admitted students will be retained by the institute until completion of the MBBS course.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • General category: Minimum 60% in Class 12
  • SC, ST, OBC categories: Minimum 50%
  • PwD candidates: Minimum 45%

ADMISSION SCHEDULE AT AIIMS, NEW DELHI

  • August 6: Medical Examination and Academic Fee Submission (Reporting at 8:30 am in Conference Hall)
  • August 7: Hostel Fee Submission and Allotment (after 9:30 am)
  • August 8: General Orientation Programme with AIIMS Director and Faculty
  • August 9–14: CREST Orientation Programme for Freshers (Mandatory)
  • August 18: Commencement of MBBS Classes

Candidates are advised to be prepared for an extended stay during admission formalities, as certain procedures may extend into the next day. The orientation and CREST programmes are compulsory and are designed to help freshers adapt to the academic and residential environment at AIIMS.
