The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the tentative schedule for various postgraduate and diploma-level medical examinations for the academic year 2025–26. Among the key announcements is the date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2025, which is scheduled to be held on November 7 and 8, 2025.

NEET SS is conducted for admission to Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) super speciality programmes across accredited medical institutions in India. The exam will be held in two shifts on each day — the morning shift from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, and the afternoon shift from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

In addition to NEET SS, NBEMS has also announced dates for other significant exams: The DrNB (Super Speciality) Final Theory Exam will be conducted on October 29, 30, and 31, 2025, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The DNB (Broad Speciality) Final Theory Exam is scheduled for December 18 to 21, 2025, also from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, The Diploma Final Theory Exam will take place on January 6, 7, and 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Another major announcement includes the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) for the December 2025 session, which will be held on January 17, 2026, in two shifts — from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The FMGE is a mandatory licensure exam for Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) with foreign medical qualifications who seek registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC).
