Karnataka framed State Curriculum Framework for Foundation Stage

On the basis of the National Curriculum Framework released by the Center in October 2022, Karnataka State framed Karnataka State Curriculum Framework (KSCF) for the foundational stage (3 to 8 years)

State Curriculum Framework for the Foundation Stage (3 to 8 years) is being prepared by Karnataka as the first state to do so in India

Department of School Education and Literacy, Karnataka and the Department of Women and Child Development, Karnataka released a draft Karnataka State Curriculum Framework (KSCF) report,

The Karnataka State Curriculum Framework (KSCF) for the foundational stage focuses on the syllabus and curriculum for students between the ages of 3 and 8,

Specifically the report Karnataka State Curriculum Framework (KSCF) focus on those students studying in Anganwadis and from Class 1 to 3.

The Karnataka state released Karnataka State Curriculum Framework (KSCF) proposes changes in the Chilipili programme implemented in Anganwadis, and also the Nali Kali programme being implemented for the students in Classes 1 to 3, As per the report submitted both Chilipili programme and Nali Kali have been revised to prioritise play learning, which was one of the major focuses of the NEP 2020.
