IBPS has announced notification for the online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the next Common Recruitment Process for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre Posts in the Participating Organisations that is tentatively scheduled in December 2020 & January 2021

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government, Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable, Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree from High School/ College/ Institute.
AGE LIMIT
A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1992 and not later than 01.09.2000 (both dates inclusive) / (Note : Age relaxation applicable as per rules)

The Online examination will be two tier : Preliminary and Main, both Exams will be Objective type question based.
CRP – PRELIMINARY EXAM
Total Marks : 100 / Duration of Exam : 60 Minutes

NOTE : Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS, by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main examination.
CRP – MAIN EXAM
Total Marks : 200 / Duration of Exam : 160 Minutes

NOTE :
The above tests except the Tests of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi
For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty, If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
EXAMINATION CENTRES
The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India, No request for change of centre for Examination shall be entertained
CUT OFF SCORES (Main Exam)
Depending on number of the State/ UT wise vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be considered for provisional allotment, the scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates
PROVISIONAL ALLOTMENT
The total marks allotted for Online Main Examination are 200. Marks will be converted out of 100 for Provisional allotment. A candidate should qualify in the Online Main Examination and be sufficiently high in the merit to be considered for subsequent provisional allotment process
CALL LETTERS
The Centre, venue address, date and time for both Preliminary and Main examinations shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter, Can download from official website using Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy of the call letter will be sent to candidates

ENGLISH LANGUAGE (30 Marks)
The Question will be based on Homonyms, Antonyms, Topic rearrangement of passage, Synonym, Spelling Mistakes, Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Phrases and idioms, Direct and Indirect speech, Active/ Passive voice, Deriving Conclusion, Para jumbles, Sentence Completion, Phrase Replacement, Theme Detection, Passage completion, Spotting Errors, Fill in the blanks, Inference, Connectors, Vocabulary, Word formation
NUMERICAL ABILITY (35 Marks)
The Question will be based on both Verbal & Non Verbal reasoning on the topics : Analogy, Classification of Alphabets / Words /Numbers, Word formation, Statement and conclusions, Syllogism, Statement and Assumptions, Data Sufficiency, Statement and Arguments, Coding and Decoding, Coded Inequalities, Blood Relations, Passage and conclusions, Alphabet series, Number Series, Ranking and Time sequence, Seating Arrangement, Direction sense Test, Decision making test, Figure series, Input/output, Assertion and reasoning, Advanced Puzzles, Alpha Numerical Series
REASONING ABILITY (35 Marks)
The Question will be based on Height and Distances,, Data Interpretation (Bar Graph, Line Chart, Tabular, Pie Chart), Inequalities (Quadratic Equations), Profit and Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Approximation and Simplification, Data Sufficiency, Miscellaneous Arithmetic Problems, HCF and LCM, Problems on Ages, Work and Time, Work and Wages, Number system, Speed Distance and Time, Simplification and Approximation, Probability, Mensuration, Permutation and Combination, Average, Ratio and Proportion, Partnership, Problems on Boats and Stream, Problems on Trains, Mixture and Allegation, Pipes and Cisterns
