Karnataka State Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council (KSQAAC) to conduct 5th and 8th std Assessment Examination 2023 from 27th March to 1st April 2023, For the 1st time in Karnataka State for the students of Class 5 and Class 8 Assessment Examination being held

Instructions regarding the Examination to be held in Schools for the students of Class 5 and 8 are being provided, to be followed to conduct the exams successfully

Karnataka State Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council (KSQAAC) has announced no student of Class 5 and Class 8 will be detained in same class, all will be promoted to next class, results to be communicated only to the concerned student and parent, Questions for the assessment Exams to be derived from Class 5 and Class 8 textbook,

Class 5 and Class 8 Exam answer scripts evaluation to be done inter cluster at Taluk center, Class 5 answer scripts evaluation is scheduled to be conducted from 1st to 5th April 2023 and Class 8  from 2nd to 7th April 2023, Evaluated answer scripts to be returned to concerned schools and Assessment marks along with oral exam marks to be entered in SATS

TIME TABLE

As per the time table the Class 5 and Class 8 Exams are scheduled to be held in Afternoon session (2.30 to 4.30PM), Except for class 8 Maths Exams which are scheduled to be held from 10.30 to 12.0am on 30th March 2023

MODEL PAPERS

Karnataka State Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council (KSQAAC) has released class 5 and class 8 all subjects Model Papers of Assessment Exams 2023, Exam paper to consist of 28 Questions for 40 Marks (20 Multiple Choice Questions for 20 Marks, Each Question carry 1 marks, there will be no negative markings, 5 Questions of 2 Marks, 2 Questions of 3 Marks and 1 Question of 4 Marks)

HALL TICKET

Karnataka State Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council (KSQAAC) has released class 5 and class 8 Exam admit card, The School Headmasters are informed to download the admit card, fill the information and distribute to the students

EXAM CENTER

The School where the Class 5 and Class 8 students are studying will be the Assessment Exam Center, Students to attend the exams in the same school they are studying 

REGISTER NUMBER

The SATS number of the students Class 5 and Class 8 will be their Exam register number, it will be entered in Hall ticket issued by the Headmaster 

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

The Schools are informed to keep record of the Oral Examination conducted for the students of class 5 and Class 8  from 6th to 10th March 2023 and enter the marks along with Assessment Exam in SATS after evaluation 

The Head Master of School will be the Chief of the Class 5 and Class 8 Assessment Examination 2023, Headmasters are informed to make separate seating arrangements for the students of Class 5 and Class 8 in accordance to the SATS number, 

Students SATS number and Room number to be displayed in the notice board of exam center, Teachers from other schools will be deputed as Room Supervisors, Exam Question paper to be collected by the Head Master from the designated Exam centers at least 1 hour early, 

Room Supervisors should confirm that all the information related to Students SATS number, School DISE, School Name, Center, Block, District is filled and signed by the student and then sign in the place Signature of Room invigilator

Class wise and Subject Wise Separate AML (Attendance and Marks List) Sheets of Class 5 and Class 8 to be filled, Absent students details to be entered in AML sheet,
