Environment, is not a word it’s a habitat for trillions of living organisms. And yes it is only habitat that is well suited for living organisms founded till now. Basically environment refers to surroundings that includes both living and non living organisms.

Mainly nature consists of atmosphere, lithosphere, biosphere and hydrosphere. Everything in Earth can be allocate into any one of four prime subsystems namely air, land, living things or water.

These subsystems are known as “spheres.” Specifically, they are the “lithosphere”, “hydrosphere”, “biosphere” and “atmosphere”.

Atmosphere– It is surrounded by air. It stretched from 1 meter below the Earth surface to more than 10,000 km above the Earth’s surface. The extreme portion of the atmosphere protects the organisms of the biosphere from the UV rays. It conjointly absorbs and emits heat. Once air temperature within the lower portion of this sphere changes, weather happens.

As air within the lower atmosphere is heated or cooled, it moves round the planet. The result will be as straightforward as a breeze or as complicated as a tornado.

Lithosphere- consists of all cold, dense land of the Earth’s crust, the semi-solid land beneath the crust, and the liquid land is close to the middle of the planet. The surface of the Geosphere (Lithosphere) is incredibly asymmetrical.

There are high mountain ranges just like the range of mountains and mountain chain, vast plains or flat areas like those in Lone-Star State, Iowa, and Brazil and deep valleys on the bottom.

Hydrosphere- contains all the solid, liquid, and vaporific water of the planet. It ranges from ten to twenty kilometers in thickness. This layer extends from many kilometers downwards into the lithosphere and to the upward about twelve kilometers into the atmosphere. A little portion of the water within the layer is non-salty.

This water flows as precipitation from the atmosphere right down to Earth, as rivers and streams on Earth’s surface, and as groundwater at a lower place Earth’s surface. Most of Earth’s water is frozen however.  Ninety seven percent of Earth’s water is salty. Simply refer it as Ocean.

Biosphere- contains all the Earth’s living things. This layer includes all of the microorganisms, plants, and animals of Earth. Among this sphere, living things configures ecological communities supports physical surroundings of a locality.

These communities are known  as biomes. Deserts, grasslands and tropical rainforests are three of the various sorts of biomes that exist within biosphere.

CELEBRATIONS

What Do People Do?

World Environment Day is celebrated in many ways throughout the world. Several activities are done like street rallies, parades, as well as concerts, tree planting, and clean-up Earth campaigns. In many countries, this annual event is used to enhance political attention and action towards improving the environment.

HISTORY

World Environment Day was first celebrated by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972 to mark the opening of the Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment. Another resolution, adopted by the General Assembly on the  same day that led to the creation of UNEP. It is hosted every year by a different city and remembered with an international exposition through the week of June 5.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Ourselves we declared as “We are the most intelligent creation among all other living organisms exists in nature.” But all we do is harmfull for nature. We call ourselves as intelligent but all our technologies killing us only.

Day by day pollution is increasing, ozone layer is disappearing, many species are extincted and many are in extincting level. For the survival of Earth each and every organism is important. Because from invisible micro organism to giant animal, every organism contribute it’s own contribution. The only species on earth forget his duty is Human being.

For sure Earth can survive without human being but it’s impossible for human being to survive without nature. Because nature means not only human beings its collective form of living organisms, non living things, air, water, land and many other things.

For Earth  we human beings are just one spieces but for us nature is everything from where we intake food, breath fresh air, drink fresh water and this is the only home for all living organisms.

STEPS TO PROTECT

  • Instead of cutting cakes on parties just plant any of plants that we like to nourish.
  • Completely avoiding plastics.
  • Maintain cleanliness in every place you visit.
  • Use public transport system when you can.
  • Encourage your kids, friends and family to love nature and to keep nature clean.
  • Start change from yourself, don’t wait for someone to change because you are also part of nature.
  • Put food and water on your terrace for birds. Make artificial nest and make them free, because they are suppose to live in nature, not in cage.
  • As like us every living organism has right to live on this planet.
  • In the name of urbanization, industrialization don’t demolish forest because at the end we need food to eat and air to breath and water to drink not all these technologies.

At last, we call intelligent ourselves hence we should behave like intelligent!
