The Sun Pharma Science Foundation Research Fellowships 2025 is a distinguished initiative aimed at identifying and supporting India’s next generation of medical and pharmaceutical researchers. Designed specifically for young Indian scientists under the age of 30, this fellowship intends to foster research excellence and promote innovative ideas that can contribute to the country’s scientific advancement.
This annual fellowship scheme is open to Indian nationals working in India who have demonstrated promising contributions in the field of Medical or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
To be eligible, candidates must be below 30 years of age as on 1st May 2025 and should have completed at least one year of their MD or Ph.D. program in Biomedical or Pharmaceutical Sciences. Importantly, applicants must have submitted a research project; however, those who have already completed their MD or Ph.D. degrees are not eligible.
FELLOWSHIP BENEFITS
Selected fellows will receive a financial award of ₹1,00,000 as a token of encouragement for their scientific pursuits. Additionally, the fellowship offers another ₹1,00,000 to support travel and participation in international conferences, giving recipients an opportunity to present their work on global platforms. Alongside the monetary rewards, each fellow will also receive a certificate of appreciation, recognizing their contribution to scientific research.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants must submit a well-documented application package that includes their Curriculum Vitae, a recent photograph, a valid passport, identity proof, research project copy, proof of Bachelor’s degree, Class 12th marksheet, and any awards or honors previously won (if applicable).
APPLICATION DEADLINE AND SELECTION
The last date to apply for the fellowship is 30th June 2025. Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee based on the fulfillment of eligibility criteria and the merit of the research work submitted.
