SHRESHTA NETS 2024 Registration Open, Exam Preponed

In the view of General Elections 2024 the National Entrance Test for the Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA NETS) 2024 Exam date has been preponed,

As per the notification released the National Entrance Test for the Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA NETS) 2024 Exams to be held on 11th May 2024,

The online registration process for the National Entrance Test 2024 for Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA NETS) 2024 has been started by the National Testing Agency (NTA) 

The Scheme for Residential Education for Students in Higher Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA) provides for high quality education for meritorious Scheduled Castes (SCs) students in CBSE affiliated reputed residential schools. Every year approximately 3,000 seats are provided in class 9 and Class 11 fully funded by the Central Government

The National Entrance Test for SHRESTHA (NETS) to be conducted in offline mode by National Testing agency (NTA) towards the admission for class 9th and 11th for Schedule caste Students,

As per the notification released the online applications can be submitted from 12th March 2024, Last date to submit the application is 4th April 2024, Correction if any in the particulars of the already submitted application can be done from 6th April to 8th April 2024, Admit card can be downloaded from 12th May 2024 onwards,

Examination is scheduled to be held on 24th May 2024, Results to be announced after 4 to 6 weeks after the conduct of the examination, Question paper to be bilingual – English and Hindi, There is no negative marking, Duration of Examination is 3 hours, 

Candidates who have passed/appearing in Class VIII for taking admission in Class IX and those appearing/passed in class X for taking admission in Class XI whose parental income is up to Rs 2.5 lakh are eligible to apply, This scheme is only for those candidates who have passed or are appearing in session 2023- 2024, Exam paper to consist of 100 Questions on Mathematics / Science / Social Science / General Knowledge (Awareness) for 400 Marks, there is no application fees to apply for the Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA NETS) 2024
