For the year 2023 the Sahitya Akademi has announced its annual Sahitya Akademi Awards 2023 in 24 languages. 

Sahitya Akademi Awards 2023 has been won by the 9 books of poetry, 6 of novels, 5 of short stories, 3 Essays and 1 Literary Study, the Sahitya Akademi Awards 2023, recommended by distinguished Jury members in 24 Indian languages, were approved by the Executive Board of the Sahitya Akademi under the Chairmanship of Sri Madhav Kaushik, President, Sahitya Akademi.
