This scholarship covers a variety of fields including Engineering, Medicine (MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homeopathy), Pharmacy, Computer Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Nursing, and more. By catering to students from different educational backgrounds, the initiative significantly contributes to nurturing future professionals across sectors.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be Indian citizens, regardless of gender or caste.
- Enrolled in any year of a full-time UG or PG degree program in eligible fields.
- Must have:
- At least 70% aggregate in Class 10 and 12.
- At least 70% marks in the previous class for first-year college students.
- A minimum of 60% in the terminal year for 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year college students.
- Nursing students must have at least 45% aggregate from the first year onward.
- Parental income should ideally be below INR 1,50,000 annually (students with slightly higher income may also be considered).
- Applicants must be 27 years of age or younger.
- Students already availing other scholarships from government or institutions are not eligible.
Documents Required
Candidates must include the following documents with their application:
- Handwritten application letter detailing financial need.
- Family background with income information of each member.
- Income proof (certificate, employer salary slip, or parent’s ITR).
- Recommendation letter from a teacher or principal.
- Attested mark sheets (Class X, XII, and latest results).
- Proof of admission/enrollment and annual fee receipt.
- Bank passbook copy or bank details with applicant’s ID proof.
- Caste certificate (if applicable).
Application Process
There is no online application. Students must manually prepare the application including personal and academic details, and enclose it in an envelope sized 25 cm x 8 cm with a Rs.10/- postal stamp affixed. Completed applications must be sent to:
