The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have officially released the RRB Group D Exam 2025 schedule. Candidates who have applied for the recruitment drive can now check the exam dates through the official websites of their respective regional RRBs. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for various Level 1 posts under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) will commence on November 17, 2025, and conclude by the end of December 2025.

RRB Group D Exam 2025 Pattern and Duration
The RRB Group D CBT 2025 will be a single-stage examination. The test duration is 90 minutes, during which candidates must answer 100 multiple-choice questions. The question paper will be divided into the following sections:
- General Science – 25 questions
- Mathematics – 25 questions
- General Intelligence and Reasoning – 30 questions
- General Awareness and Current Affairs – 20 questions
For PwBD candidates accompanied with a scribe, the exam duration will be extended to 120 minutes.
The exam also follows a negative marking system, where 1/3rd marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
To shortlist candidates, the minimum qualifying percentage for different categories has been specified as:
- UR – 40%
- EWS – 40%
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 30%
- SC – 30%
- ST – 30%
Relaxations may be applicable as per government rules.
Admit Card and Exam City Details
The link for viewing the exam city, date, and downloading travel authority for SC/ST candidates will be activated 10 days before the exam date on the respective RRB websites. Candidates will be able to download their RRB Group D Admit Card 2025 approximately 4 days prior to their exam date.
Selection Process
The recruitment process for RRB Group D 2025 consists of the following stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
The Railway Administration also reserves the right to conduct the CBT in either a single-stage or multi-stage format, depending on the number of applicants.
