The NMC clarified that there has been confusion regarding the National Testing Agency (NTA) issuing the NEET-UG Bulletin 2025, which some claim does not align with NMC regulations.
However, the NMC has now confirmed that students who have completed their education through NIOS are eligible to appear for NEET UG 2025, as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations (GMER)-23.
Additionally, the NMC stated that students are also permitted to study an additional subject from NIOS, provided the coursework is completed through an authorized institution.
