Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India is organizing National Youth Parliament Competition 2024 in order to strengthen the roots of democracy, inculcate healthy habits of discipline, develop tolerance of divergent views and familiarize the student community with the procedures and functioning of Parliament.
Registration for the 4th edition of the National Youth Parliament Scheme (NYPS) 2024 are open now, All the schools may register on the portal and organize Youth Parliament Sittings.
All recognised educational institutions of the country are eligible to participate in the National Youth Parliament Competition 2024, The registration for participation to be done online by the educational institutions, After successful registration, the educational institutions can conduct the National Youth Parliament Sittings in their respective institutions
Each student taking part in the National Youth Parliament Competition 2024 sitting to get a Digital Certificate of Participation and the Teachers in charge and Head of Institution each to get a Certificate of Appreciation, Last date to register is 30th September 2024, Last date for conducting Youth Parliament Sitting ( Virtual/ Physical) is 31st October 2024, Each institution is allowed to conduct multiple YPS through separate registrations for separate batches of students
