As part of the Independence Day Celebrations 2025, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov, has launched an exciting Online Quiz Series aimed at igniting patriotic fervour among youth and citizens across India. This initiative is designed to not only engage participants but also to inspire reflection on India’s strength, innovation, and historical legacy.
The quiz series comprises three thought-provoking quizzes, each focused on a powerful theme that connects deeply with India’s journey:
Quiz on Role of Women in Shaping the New India: This quiz honours the contributions of Indian women—from legendary freedom fighters to modern-day pioneers—highlighting their roles in leadership, social change, and nation-building.
Quiz on Bharat Ranbhoomi – ‘Border of India’: Participants will explore the strategic frontiers of the nation, learning about the geographical, military, and historical significance of India’s borders and the heroism of its defenders.
Quiz on Rise of Aatmnirbhar Innovation in National Security: Celebrating India’s advancements in defence, this quiz delves into indigenous technologies, innovations, and efforts toward self-reliance in the security sector.
SALIENT FEATURES OF THE QUIZ SERIES
- Bilingual Format: All quizzes will be available in Hindi and English.
- Quiz Duration: Each quiz will last 5 minutes (300 seconds), with a maximum of 20 questions.
- Participation Rules: Individuals can take part in all three quizzes without elimination. Winners will be chosen based on combined performance.
- Winning Criteria: Winners will be judged by the maximum correct answers in the shortest time, across all three quizzes.

- 1st Prize: ₹25,000
- 2nd Prize: ₹15,000
- 3rd Prize: ₹10,000
- Seven Consolation Prizes: ₹5,000 each
SPECIAL RECOGNITION
The Top 200 participants, along with a companion (spouse, guardian, or relative), will receive e-invitations from the Ministry of Defence to attend the Independence Day celebrations at Red Fort, Delhi, on 15th August 2025.
Every participant will receive a digital certificate of participation, acknowledging their contribution to this patriotic endeavour.
