MUKTI, a well-known non-profit organization committed to social development and education, has launched the Talented Students Sponsorship (TSS) Program 2025–26 to support meritorious yet underprivileged students of West Bengal in their pursuit of higher education. This initiative is aimed at empowering talented youth from disadvantaged backgrounds through financial aid, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
MUKTI is now inviting applications for the 2025–26 academic year from students currently pursuing or having completed Secondary, Higher Secondary, Undergraduate, or Postgraduate studies from recognized boards or universities in West Bengal. The program is specially tailored to uplift bright students who lack the financial means to continue their academic journey.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- For Undergraduate Courses: Minimum 80% marks in both Secondary (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) examinations
- For Postgraduate Courses: Minimum First Class in the Bachelor’s degree
- Must be a resident of West Bengal from a low-income or disadvantaged background
SUPPORTED ACADEMIC STREAMS
- Professional Courses: Engineering, Medical, Nursing, Agriculture, Dairy, BBA, MBA, BCA, MCA, LLB, BSW, MSW, Diploma in Engineering
- General Courses: Arts, Commerce, and Science

- Recent passport-size photograph
- Marksheets and certificates from Class 10 onwards
- Scanned copy of front page of bank passbook
- Income Certificate (issued by a government authority such as Gram Pradhan, MLA, BDO, etc.)
- Proof of admission and certified tuition fee details
