MP SET 2025 Important Dates
As per the official notification, the key dates for the Madhya Pradesh SET 2025 are as follows:
- Online Application Start Date: October 25, 2025
- Online Application Closing Date: November 20, 2025
- Application Correction Window: October 30 to November 22, 2025
- Examination Date: January 11, 2026

MP SET 2025 Application Fee
The MP SET 2025 examination fee varies based on category:
- For SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, and PwBD candidates of Madhya Pradesh: ₹250 + ₹40 portal fee
- For other category candidates: ₹500 + ₹40 portal fee
- Application form correction fee: ₹50 per correction
Candidates applying after the last date can still submit their applications by paying a late fee:
- Between November 21–28, 2025: ₹3,000 + ₹40 portal fee
- From November 29, 2025 up to 10 days before the exam: ₹25,000 + ₹40 portal fee
MP SET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying for the MP State Eligibility Test 2025:
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have postgraduate degrees from a university or institution established by a Central/State Act or recognized by the UGC (University Grants Commission).
- Those in the final year/semester of their postgraduate course are also eligible to apply provisionally.
- Minimum Marks Required:
- General/OBC (Creamy Layer): 55% in postgraduate degree.
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC Non-Creamy Layer/EWS/PwBD): 50% marks.
- Ph.D. Candidates:
- Those who completed their postgraduation by September 19, 1991, and hold a Ph.D. degree, will get a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks (from 55% to 50%).
- Foreign Degree Holders:
- Candidates holding postgraduate degrees/diplomas/certificates from foreign universities must produce an equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
