The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has officially revised the MP Board Class 12 exam date for the Geography subject. As per the latest notification, the Geography paper, which was earlier scheduled differently, will now be held on March 5, 2026. Students preparing for the MP Board Class 12 exams must take note of this crucial update.
The MP Board Class 12 exams 2026 will commence from February 7, 2026, while the MP Board Class 10 exams 2026 are scheduled to begin from February 11, 2026. Both Class 10 and Class 12 exams will be conducted in the morning session from 9 am to 12 noon across designated examination centers in Madhya Pradesh.
MP Board Practical Exam Dates 2026
MPBSE has also issued details regarding the MP Board practical exams 2026.
- Regular students will appear for their practical assessments in their respective schools.
- Self-study and private students must attend the practicals at assigned examination centers across the state.
These practical exams for both Class 10 and Class 12 will be conducted from February 10 to March 10, 2026. The board has clearly mentioned that practical exams may even take place on holidays, keeping the academic schedule on track.
MP Board Exam Day Guidelines 2026
To ensure smooth and disciplined exam management, the board has announced strict exam-day rules for students:
- Students must reach the exam centre by 8 am sharp.
- Entry gates will be closed at 8:45 am. Any student arriving late will not be permitted to sit for the exam.
- Answer sheets will be distributed at 8:50 am, giving students adequate time to fill in necessary information.
- Question papers will be handed over five minutes before the start of writing time.
- The board has clarified that no exam will be postponed due to any local or public holiday.
These instructions have been issued to prevent last-minute delays and to maintain fairness in evaluation across all exam centres.
