The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala (DHSE) has officially released the exam dates for the Kerala Board Class 11 (Plus One) and Class 12 (Plus Two) Higher Secondary Exam 2026. According to the latest notification, the Kerala +2 Board Exam 2026 will commence on March 6, 2026, while the Kerala Class 11 (Plus One) Exam 2026 will be held from March 5 to March 27, 2026.
This announcement brings clarity for thousands of Higher Secondary students in the state who are preparing for the upcoming examinations under the Kerala board.
Kerala Plus Two Exam 2026: Detailed Schedule
The Kerala DHSE Class 12 Exam 2026 will begin on March 6 with major papers including Physics, Sociology, and Anthropology. The next day, March 7, will include Home Science, Gandhian Studies, Philosophy, Journalism, Computer Science, and Statistics. The examination process will end on March 28, 2026 with the Part 1 English paper.
The board has confirmed that the exam timing and complete timetable will be available on the official DHSE website soon.
Kerala Plus One Exam 2026
For Class 11 students, the Kerala Plus One Board Exam 2026 will begin a day earlier — on March 5, 2026, and conclude on March 27, 2026. The same guidelines for evaluation and attendance will apply as in previous years.
Evaluation Criteria for DHSE Exams 2026
The Kerala Class 12 Higher Secondary Examination 2026 will consist of:
- Continuous Evaluation (CE)
- Practical Evaluation (PE)
- Terminal Evaluation (TE)
Meanwhile, the Kerala Class 11 Examination 2026 will include only CE and TE components. Students must also secure a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible to sit for the exams.
Kerala +2 Practical Exam from January 22
As per DHSE guidelines:
- Kerala Class 12 Practical Exams 2026 will start on January 22, 2026
- Admit cards for Plus Two students will be issued from January 15, 2026
- Kerala Class 11 Admit Cards 2026 will be available from February 16, 2026
The last date to submit the application forms for both Plus One and Plus Two students is November 25, 2025.
Kerala Board Exam 2026: Application & Fee Structure
The DHSE has notified the application fee details:
