In a landmark move aimed at revolutionizing competitive exam preparation in Maharashtra, the Maharashtra Class Owners’ Association (MCOA) has launched the ‘Maha Mock Test’, touted as India’s first state-wide mock examination initiative for MHT-CET and JEE aspirants. This innovative programme is designed to give students a national-level examination experience with remedial insights and personalized follow-ups, ensuring they are fully prepared for upcoming entrance tests.
A Groundbreaking Initiative for Students
The Maha Mock Test, spearheaded by Klasy Innovations in association with MCOA and presented by CBS, is powered by Prometric, the official technology partner known for managing global-standard testing systems. By replicating national-level exam standards, the initiative helps students gain familiarity with question patterns, manage time effectively, and identify areas for improvement well before the actual exams.
Registration Timeline and Exam Coverage
Registrations for the Maha Mock Test 2025 are open until Children’s Day, November 14, giving aspirants ample time to register. This initiative caters to students preparing for JEE (January & April sessions) and MHT-CET (May). By providing a realistic test environment, the programme aims to reduce exam anxiety and increase confidence levels among students across Maharashtra.
Inclusive Reach: From Metro Cities to Remote Areas
For the first time ever, over 5,000 coaching classes are coming together under one umbrella to offer world-class testing standards. This collaboration ensures equal opportunities for students not just in Mumbai and Nagpur, but also in remote districts such as Nandurbar, leveling the playing field for all aspirants.
New Collaborations Announced by MCOA
During the launch at the Teachers’ Day celebrations and awards ceremony, MCOA President Prajesh Trotsky emphasized that the Maha Mock Test is designed to empower students and transform the learning process.
In addition, MCOA announced the creation of FORCE (Forum of Registered Coaching Educators) — a coalition of eight major coaching organizations. This new forum will jointly advocate on policy matters such as the proposed Coaching Class Regulation Bill and GST reforms affecting the education sector.
MCOA also revealed a partnership with the CBS Foundation to roll out support programmes including group insurance schemes for teachers, aptitude testing for students, and career guidance initiatives. These efforts highlight the association’s broader vision to strengthen both student and teacher communities.
Transforming Competitive Exam Preparation in Maharashtra
With its state-wide reach, innovative technology integration, and collaborative support, the Maha Mock Test is set to redefine how students prepare for MHT-CET and JEE. By combining realistic testing environments with remedial support, MCOA is ensuring that aspirants receive holistic preparation that bridges the gap between classroom learning and actual exam performance.
