The notification for the recruitment of Consultant Interpreter for Regional Languages on contractual basis in Lok Sabha Secretariat released, the application can be submitted from 27th February 2023 and the last date to apply is 3rd March 2023, 

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 105 Consultant Interpreter for Regional Languages on contractual basis in Lok Sabha Secretariat

The Consultant Interpreters shall be paid Fee on per day basis for actual number of days of work undertaken by them during the period of engagement in the Lok Sabha Secretariat during a Session as well as the inter Session Period

AGE LIMIT

The Age limit fixed to the post of 105 Consultant Interpreter for Regional Languages on contractual basis in Lok Sabha Secretariat as on 3rd March 2023, Age relaxation as per the rules

Min 27 years
Max 70 years

QUALIFICATION

The candidates with Master’s Degree in any discipline with Regional language(s) concerned as recognized in the Constitution of India as a compulsory/elective subject at the Matriculation (Class X) or equivalent or higher level  / Diploma in the regional language(s) concerned from a recognized university/institution are eligible to apply

SELECTION

Eligible candidates will have to appear in Oration Test / Simultaneous Interpretation Test, Candidates will be subjected to an Oration test which will be of 200 marks, candidate will be required to speak ex-tempore for 3 minutes in English and 3 minutes in Regional Language concerned on any one of the 7 topics in English and 7 topics in language concerned given

Simultaneous Interpretation Test: Candidates need to take up from concerned regional language to English (5 Minutes) of 100 Marks and from English to concerned language (5 Minutes) of 100 Marks,

In each component / parameter in Oration Test and Simultaneous Interpretation Test all candidates will be required to secure minimum 50% marks
