Karnataka UGNEET 2025: Instructions and Guidelines to candidates released

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the official instructions and guidelines for candidates seeking admission to Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy courses for the academic year 2025 under UGNEET 2025. The process is fully online, and candidates must strictly follow the regulations to ensure a smooth and valid admission process.

Eligible candidates must apply online through the official KEA website. KEA has explicitly instructed candidates to complete the application process on their own and not rely on agents or mediators. Any information entered incorrectly will be considered final, and no further requests for changes will be entertained.

Candidates must ensure that their UGNEET 2025 Roll Number, name, contact address, reservation details, PWD status, academic qualifications, and date of birth are correctly entered. The information furnished during online application submission will be treated as accurate and factual by KEA.

One of the key highlights of the 2025 admission cycle is the option entry rule. The options entered by candidates during the first round will be final and used for all subsequent rounds of seat allotment. No fresh option entry will be allowed for later rounds. However, candidates will be able to delete or rearrange their higher-order options, and also add new options only for newly added courses or colleges that appear in the seat matrix after the first round.

This means the initial option entry requires careful thought and planning, as it forms the base for future allotments. The option priority list will be visible to candidates in the option entry module using their login credentials.

Admission is purely provisional and subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria outlined in the UGNEET 2025 Information Bulletin. Further, any seat allotment is provisional and depends on approval by statutory bodies like the National Medical Commission (NMC), Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Dental Council of India (DCI), respective universities, and other competent authorities.

Candidates who had been allotted a Medical or Dental seat in any previous year and failed to surrender it before the final round option entry deadline are not eligible for seat allotment this year. Also, those currently pursuing Medical/Dental education under other boards are not permitted to participate.

Candidates are advised to thoroughly check eligibility criteria related to reservation, academic qualifications, linguistic and religious minority status, and NRI/NRI Ward category before applying. Using the same mobile number throughout the admission process is mandatory, and sharing personal details like application number or password with unknown persons is strongly discouraged.

The KEA emphasizes that candidates are deemed to have read and accepted the UGNEET 2025 Information Bulletin and all terms and conditions as soon as they register online.

Candidates are encouraged to regularly visit the KEA website for official updates and follow all instructions meticulously to secure their UGNEET 2025 seat successfully, for more details and check detailed guidelines CLICK HERE
