Indian Institute of Geomagnetism invite applications for admissions to JRF programme 2023

Online Applications are invited for admission to Junior Research Fellowship 2023 by the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG), It is an autonomous research institute under Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India engaged in frontline research in Geomagnetism and Allied Fields, Tenure and fellowship / stipend to the JRF / SRF are as per prevailing CSIR / UGC guidelines

ELIGIBLITY 

The candidates with M.Sc / M.Sc (Tech) in the disciplines of Physics / Geophysics / Space Physics / Applied Geology & Applied Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks throughout or equivalent CGPA grade and Physics or Mathematics as a subject in B.Sc / Graduation level and 25 years as on 1st July 2023 are eligible to apply, Those appearing for Master’s degree final year examination during the year 2023 are also eligible to apply

SELECTION

Candidates who are in possession of the GATE / NET / INSPIRE-JRF certificates valid up to January 2025 or later, in the above mentioned subjects, may be called for the interview directly

However the Candidates who have not qualified any of the above tests or not in possession of valid GATE / NET / INSPIRE certificates will have to appear for a written test and a personal interview at IIG, Navi Mumba
