IIT Kanpur : M.Sc, M.Tech, MS, Ph.D admissions 2023 notification released

Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur has invited applications for M.Sc, M.Tech, MS, Ph.D admissions 2023 – 24,

Applications are invited for admission to July 2023 semester in M.Sc, M.Tech, MS, Ph.D programmes offered by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Online applications from the interested and eligible students can be submitted from 22nd March to 11th April 2023

Students who are in final year of their programme (likely to finish the programme by 27th July 2023) may also apply and secure provisional admission for the session commencing in July 2023, Financial support (Institute Assistantship / Scholarship) will be provided to non-sponsored PhD, MTech and MS (By Research) students. The last date of withdrawal from the programme with Rs 1000 deduction is 11th July 2023

Ph.D applicants must arrange for 2 letters of reference as well, at the online applications portal the names of the referees along with their e-mail addresses are to be provided by the candidate 

For M.Tech admissions – All the admission offers to GATE qualified-candidates will be displayed on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). Candidates must register at the COAP portal for viewing and accepting their offers. Registration on COAP portal is free. Separate application form is to be filled for each programme or department.

The 1sr semester M.Sc, M.Tech, MS, Ph.D classes every year will normally commence in the last week of July and the second in the first week of January 

For M.Tech admissions the applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a 4 year bachelor’s degree in science or a master’s degree in science

For MS by Research – The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a 4-year bachelor’s degree in science or a master’s degree in science
