The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has officially released the Class 10th and 12th compartment exam datesheet for 2025 on its official portal. Students who wish to appear for the compartment exams can now check and download the complete exam schedule online.
The compartment exams are an important opportunity for students who were unable to clear one or more subjects in the main examinations. These exams give them a second chance to pass and continue their academic journey without losing an entire academic year.
HPBOSE Class 10th Compartment Exam Dates (July 22 – July 29, 2025)
The Class 10th compartment exams will be conducted from July 22 to July 29, 2025, in a single morning session from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM. The subject-wise schedule is as follows:
- July 22: Sanskrit, Punjabi, Urdu
- July 23: Hindi
- July 24: Science and Technology
- July 25: Social Science
- July 26: English
- July 28: Mathematics
- July 29: Arts, Computer Science, ITES (NSQF), Tourism & Hospitality (NSQF), Telecom (NSQF), Economics, and Human Ecology and Family Science (H.Sc)
HPBOSE Class 12th Compartment Exam Dates (July 22 – July 28, 2025)
Similarly, the Class 12th compartment exams will also take place from July 22 to July 28, 2025, during the morning session from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM. The subject-wise schedule is:
- July 22: English
- July 23: Economics, Hindi, Physics
- July 24: Accountancy, Chemistry, History
- July 25: Biology, Business Studies, Mathematics
- July 26: Political Science, Urdu, Sanskrit, Sociology
- July 28: Physical Education, Computer Science (Information Practices), ITES (NSQF), Beauty & Wellness (NSQF)
Important Instructions
HPBOSE advises all students to arrive at the exam center well in advance and carry the necessary admit card and ID proof. The board has also instructed the examination centers to follow appropriate security and examination protocols to ensure a smooth conduct of the exams.
