Esri India, a leader in Geographic Information System (GIS) solutions, has announced the Master’s Scholarship Program 2025, offering an excellent opportunity for students pursuing advanced studies in Geoinformatics and related geospatial disciplines. The program aims to support and encourage academic excellence among students specializing in areas such as Remote Sensing, GIS, Spatial Modelling, Digital Image Processing, and Spatial Analysis.
A total of 10 deserving students will be awarded an annual scholarship of ₹1,00,000 each. In addition to the financial grant, scholars will also receive a one-year ArcGIS Personal Use License, allowing them access to industry-leading software tools for academic and personal development in the field of GIS.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for this prestigious scholarship, applicants must:
- Be enrolled in the second year of a postgraduate (M.Tech./M.Sc.) program directly related to geospatial sciences.
- Have successfully completed the first academic year (2024–25) of their course.
- Demonstrate outstanding academic performance during the first year.
The application deadline is 25th July 2025, and students from recognized institutions across India are encouraged to apply.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Eligible students must submit the following documents:
- Scanned copy of address proof
- Scanned copy of college ID card
- First-year mark sheet or academic certificates
- A synopsis of projects undertaken during the first year
- A Statement of Purpose (SoP) of up to 250 words describing academic goals and interest in the geospatial field
