The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially opened the Haryana Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025 correction portal following directions from the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Candidates who appeared for the CET Group-C 2025 examination can now make corrections and upload the necessary documents through the official portal. The correction window will remain open from October 17 to October 24, 2025.
According to the official HSSC CET 2025 notice, candidates must upload the required supporting documents for their claims on or before the cut-off date, June 14, 2025, as mentioned in the notification. The Commission has clarified that no further extension will be provided and no physical requests for category correction will be accepted at the HSSC office.
High Court Intervention and Correction Portal Launch
The correction window was opened in compliance with the Punjab and Haryana High Court’s order in CWP No. 17581 of 2025 (Sheetal and Others vs State of Haryana and Another), dated July 7, 2025. Following the court’s directions, HSSC decided to launch the correction facility for CET Group-C 2025 to allow candidates to rectify details in their application forms.
The Haryana CET 2025 examination was conducted on July 26 and 27, 2025, in two shifts — 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM and 3:15 PM to 5:00 PM — across multiple centers in the state. The exam was held for recruitment to various Group-C posts under the Haryana government.
HSSC CET 2025 Correction Guidelines
As per HSSC’s latest announcement, the correction facility will allow candidates to:
- Edit personal details, category, and other information if needed.
- Upload missing or updated supporting documents related to their category or eligibility claims.
- Review all information carefully before the portal closes on October 24, 2025.
The Commission emphasized that once the correction window closes, no changes or document uploads will be accepted under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to ensure that all category-related documents are uploaded correctly to avoid disqualification during verification.
Candidates’ Reactions on Social Media
The decision to keep the cut-off date as June 14, 2025, has sparked widespread criticism among aspirants. Many candidates have expressed frustration on social media, particularly on X (formerly Twitter), questioning the fairness of the rule.
One user wrote, “When the Saral portal itself was launched after June 14, how could the certificates be issued before that date? This is unfair. It should be revised.” Another user commented, “This is absolutely wrong. The correction portal is useless if the cut-off date has already passed. Many eligible candidates couldn’t correct their details because the portal was delayed.”
Several candidates have also alleged that maintaining the June 14 deadline despite portal delays amounts to injustice and could lead to further legal proceedings.
