GITAM University invite applications for PhD Admissions 2023

Applications are invited by the GITAM Deemed University for PhD admissions to PhD Programs (Full-time / Extramural) in Engineering, Science, Management, Humanities and Social Sciences, Pharmacy, and Law for the academic year 2023-24  at Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad campus

Candidates who have minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in the Masters degree are eligible to submit applications for GITAM Deemed University PhD admissions 2023, Candidates admitted into Full-time Ph.D. programme should not undertake any assignment / employment or shall not pursue any other full-time programme of study simultaneously, The last date for submission of applications is 10th June 2023

Interested and Eligible candidates can submit online application at by paying a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1200, subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria the admission shall be based on the marks secured in the National Entrance Test (GReAT – GITAM Research Admissions Test) scheduled to be held on 25th June 2023 and Interview,

Entrance test syllabus shall have 50% coverage on Research Aptitude/ Methodology and 50% on specific subject Area, duration of the test is two hours, and the test may comprise of a combination of descriptive & objective type questions, Interview shall be conducted for 60 Marks, on the basis of marks obtained together in the entrance test and interview the merit list for admission shall be prepared, Results of Online PhD Entrance Exam to be announced on 1st July 2023

Ph.D. Programme shall be for a minimum duration of three (3) years, including course work, and a maximum duration of six (6) years from the date of admission to the Ph.D. programme, Female Ph.D. Scholars may be provided Maternity Leave/Child Care Leave for up to 240 days in the entire duration of the Ph.D. programme
