- Graduate Apprentices: 40 posts
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: 20 posts

Eligibility Criteria for DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2025
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentices: Candidates with degrees in Electronics & Communication (ECE), Electrical & Electronics (EEE), Computer Science (CSE), Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, BE, or B.Tech are eligible.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: A diploma in the respective engineering disciplines is required.
- ITI Trade Apprentices: Applicants must have completed ITI in trades such as Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic-Diesel, Draughtsman (Mechanical), Electronic Mechanic, Electrician, COPA, or Library Assistant.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years (as of September 1, 2025).
- Upper age relaxation: As per Government of India regulations for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories.
DRDO Apprentice 2025 Selection Process
The recruitment process includes:
- Shortlisting – Based on academic qualifications and technical skills.
- Document Verification – Candidates must present original certificates, marksheets, and valid ID proofs.
- Medical Examination – To assess physical fitness before final selection.

“Depending upon the vacancies available in various categories and disciplines, selection of candidates will be carried out by shortlisting on the basis of academic merit, written test, or interview, as required, subject to satisfactory verification of documents.”
DRDO Apprentice 2025 Stipend
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend during the training period:
- Graduate Apprentices: ₹9,000 per month
- Diploma Apprentices: ₹8,000 per month
- ITI Apprentices: As per Government apprenticeship norms
