The Commissionerate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh, has officially commenced the registration process for Round 1 of the NEET UG Counselling 2025 on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Candidates who have qualified in the NEET UG 2025 examination and are seeking admission into MBBS and BDS programs across government and private medical colleges in the state can now apply online through the official counselling portal.
As per the notification, the last date for completing the registration for Round 1 is August 4, 2025. The choice filling and locking option is available from July 29 to August 5, 2025, allowing candidates to prioritize their preferred colleges and courses.
Following the completion of registration and choice locking, the merit list will be published on August 6, 2025, on the official website. The seat allotment process will be carried out on August 7, and the Round 1 allotment results will be declared on August 8, 2025.
Once the allotment results are released, candidates allotted a seat must report to their respective institutes for the document scrutiny process, which is scheduled from August 9 to August 14, 2025. The admission process at the institutes will also take place during the same period.
For those who are not allotted a seat in Round 1 or wish to participate in the next round, the Round 2 registration will begin from August 18 to August 24, 2025. Candidates will be able to fill and lock their choices from August 18 to August 25, 2025.
The merit list for Round 2 will be published on August 26, followed by the seat allotment on August 27, and the Round 2 allotment result will be released on August 28, 2025.
Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 must complete the scrutiny and admission process at their respective institutes between August 29 and September 5, 2025.
