5th Annual Exams 2023 

The Karnataka School Examination  and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has announced from the year 2022 – 23 the Annual Exams / Evaluation for the students of Class 5 to be conducted in March 2023,

For the year 2022 – 23 to overcome the loss by students due to COVID 19 pandemic the Learning Recovery Programme (Kalika Chetharike) has been introduced for the students of class 1 to 9, 

Annual Examination to be conducted on Learning Recovery Programme (Kalika Chetharike) syllabus completed from November 2022 to March 2023, The students should secure minimum 35 marks out of 100, Evaluation of Class 5 to be conducted, for more details CLICK HERE

The annual examination for the students of class 5 is part of the Karnataka State Government’s effort to measure the progress and performance of students at the elementary level for the entire year, along with objective to bring more seriousness among students and recover from the learning loss caused to the students by the pandemic

The annual examination for class 5 are scheduled to be conducted between 9th and 17th March 2023, the evaluation will commence on 21st March and the results are expected to be announced between 8th and 10th April 2023

MODEL PAPERS

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) to release shortly the Model papers in accordance with Syllabus, Pattern and Blue print

EXAM PATTERN

SA 2 Examination for students of class 5 and 8 to be held for 50 marks, duration of exam is 2 hours, Out of 50 Marks – 40 Marks Written Exam and 10 Marks Oral Exam to be conducted,

In 40 Marks Written Exam 20 Marks will be Multiple Choice Based (MCQ) and 20 Marks will be Subjective (Short Answer, Long Answer, Very Long Answer) type,
