The Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) has announced the opening of applications for its Higher Education Scholarship Fund 2025, continuing its noble mission to support economically disadvantaged Muslim students pursuing higher and professional education. Established in 2013, this initiative aims to empower the community through education and financial aid.
This year, 300+ meritorious and needy students will be awarded a minimum of ₹10,000 as a scholarship to help them continue their academic journey. The selection will be made based on academic performance and financial need, as assessed by the AMP Scholarship Selection Team.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Must belong to an economically disadvantaged Muslim family.
- Should be Zakat-eligible under Shariah guidelines.
- Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent.
- Priority is given to those enrolled in professional disciplines such as Medical, Engineering, Law, Journalism, or in premier institutions like IITs, IIMs, IISc, GLC, and other UGC/AICTE recognized colleges.
- Support is also extended to students enrolled in technical/vocational courses affiliated with NCVT at the graduation level.
- Scholarships will be disbursed online directly to institutions only after complete verification.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
- 10th & 12th mark sheets.
- Previous academic records (for ongoing courses).
- Valid ID & address proof (preferably Aadhaar/PAN/Ration Card).
- Fee structure and bank details of the institution.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Background checks will be carried out by local AMP Chapters and partner NGOs.
- Last Date to Apply: Tuesday, 1st July 2025.
- Hard copy applications will not be accepted.
- Fundraising causes posted on IndiaZakat will be shared on social media to attract donor support.
