The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched its annual free psycho-social counselling services for Class 10 and Class 12 students to support their mental health and emotional well-being ahead of the CBSE Board Exams 2026. According to CBSE, the first phase of counselling services has already commenced and will continue until June 1, 2026. The services are accessible to both students and parents, reinforcing CBSE’s commitment to holistic student development and well-being.

CBSE Counselling Services 2026 – Key Highlights

The psycho-social counselling programme is designed to provide emotional support, stress management strategies, and academic guidance during the crucial examination phase. Students can access tele-communication-based counselling from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, on all days except Saturdays and Sundays.

A total of 73 trained professionals are part of the counselling panel, including school principals, counsellors, special educators from CBSE-affiliated schools, and qualified psychologists.

Helpline and 24×7 IVRS Support

In addition to live counselling sessions, CBSE has also made available a 24×7 Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) for students.
