The 4th edition of World Food India (WFI) is set to take place in New Delhi from 25–28 September 2025, promising to be the largest and most impactful edition yet. Organised by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), this flagship event will spotlight India’s diverse food culture, innovations in food processing, and emerging investment opportunities in the country’s thriving agri-food ecosystem.
With the theme “Processing for Prosperity”, World Food India 2025 aims to drive global collaboration, technology exchange, and innovation in the food value chain. The event will provide a global platform to boost India’s position as a key hub for food processing, manufacturing, cold chain logistics, and export-oriented agro-industries.
This year’s edition is set to break all previous records, with participation from over 90 countries and more than 2,000 exhibitors and stakeholders from across the food processing and allied sectors. Global food companies, policymakers, agritech startups, cold chain infrastructure experts, and investors are expected to convene in Delhi for this mega event.
World Food India 2025 is being co-organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) as the National Partner, and Ernst & Young (EY) serving as the Knowledge Partner. The collective efforts of these organisations will ensure a seamless and enriching experience for all stakeholders.
The four-day event will feature exhibitions, business-to-business (B2B) meetings, government-to-business (G2B) dialogues, international food tastings, startup zones, and policy roundtables, facilitating cross-border partnerships and showcasing India’s policy support for food entrepreneurs. Special sessions will also focus on sustainable processing, food safety, nutrition innovation, and rural agri-enterprise empowerment.
World Food India has emerged as a key platform for promoting ‘Make in India’ in the food sector, encouraging foreign direct investment, and highlighting India’s strong agricultural base and growing consumer market. It supports the government’s vision of enhancing value addition in the agri-food supply chain, doubling farmers’ income, and reducing food waste through innovation and efficient cold storage infrastructure.
As the world focuses on food security and sustainability, World Food India 2025 stands as a testament to India’s commitment to becoming a global leader in food processing, offering vast opportunities for innovation, investment, and inclusive growth
