The Karnataka State Minister of School Education and Literacy B C Nagesh said the revised provisional selection list of 15,000 Graduate Primary School Teachers ( GPT) (Class 6-8) to be released within a week time,
Earlier released 1 : 1 Provisional 15,000 Graduate Primary School Teachers ( GPT) (Class 6-8) by the Department of School Education and Literacy was withdrawn as some of the candidates had approached the High Court considering the Provisional Selection list,
The Karnataka High Court, which accepted the application of the candidates, said in the order to withdraw the 1 : 1 Provisional selection list published by the Department of School Education and Literacy and to continue the recruitment process considering the caste and income certificate of the father submitted by the married women.
In this regard, it was decided to revise the provisional selection list after a meeting with the Chief Secretary, Advocate General, Law Department and higher officials of the Education Department.
